DESCRIPTION:The Borough contracts with Blue Diamond Disposal for weekly garbage and bulk item collection. Questions concerning your garbage collection should be directed to 973-347-0159 x-15. \nGarbage Collection\nWHEN? Place your garbage cans at the curb the night before\, but no later than 7am Thursday morning.\nHOW MUCH? Each household is allowed to place four 32-gallon garbage cans\, with tight fitting lids\, at the curb for weekly collection. Garbage bags are not considered containers. \nStorage of garbage cans is permitted in the rear or side yard and should be 10 feet from any property line. \nBulk Item Collection\nWHEN? One bulk item may be placed at the curb with your weekly garbage.\nWHAT? Bulk items may include furniture\, mattress\, carpets\, children’s toys and even the kitchen sink. Please be mindful\, Blue Diamond will not accept construction materials\, electronic waste or hazardous waste.
