DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, April 25\, 2026 (for one day only)\, Stanhope residents are invited to shred their documents and recycle electronics for FREE!  This event will take place at the Stanhope DPW Facility\, 7 Smith Street\, from 9am to 12 Noon. \nShredding: Each resident is allowed up to 3 file boxes of papers. No need to remove staples or paper clips. Any applications received after close of business on Thursday\, April 30th\, will incur late fees.  After April 30th a $5.00 per month\, per pet\, late fee will be added to the cost of the license. The office is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm or you can drop off the renewal paperwork and check in the drop box located on the front door of the municipal building (77 Main Street)\, prior to 4:30pm on Thursday\, April 30th\, and we will mail the license and tags to you.
