DESCRIPTION:Our Seniors meet on the 4th Thursday of every month\, 11am\, at the American Legion Musconetcong Post 278 located at 119 Route 183 in Stanhope. \nPLEASE NOTE: The club does not meet in August.  The November meeting is on the third Thursday of the month\, November 21st.  Arrive at 11am for a social hour. The meeting begins at 12pm. \nDues are $15 per year. Members are 55 years of age or older. A great way to meet new friends in a social setting! Coffee and cake is always served. Many activities are scheduled throughout the year.

SUMMARY:Order Hometown Heroes Banner
DESCRIPTION:The Stanhope Foundation is proud to announce that we are looking to honor the Veterans of Stanhope Borough through the Hometown Heroes Banner Program. The banners will be 18″x36″ and they will be hung on the decorative street lights along Main Street. If enough banners are purchased\, banners will also be displayed on the lamp posts along Sparta Road. Each banner will be custom made for the Veteran being honored and it will include their service photo (which can be edited as needed). The manufacturer states the banners should last three years\, however we plan to display the banners seasonally\, which will keep them viable for a much longer time period. The cost to sponsor a banner is $100.00 and we are asking that the submission form and photo be dropped off at Borough Hall (77 Main Street\, Stanhope) by February 28\, 2025 in order to have the banners ready for our Memorial Day Parade. We will continue to accept submissions after the deadline and the new requests for banners will be ordered on a rolling basis. Please share this information with any Borough residents\, present or past\, who would like to participate.
