SUMMARY:Lake Musconetcong Draw Down Begins
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT LAKE MUSCONETCONG NOTICE – The annual temporary draw down of the lake is scheduled to start October 25th. The two foot reduction should be completed by November 1st and the lake will remain at that lower level for about a month. \nThe draw down allows for shoreline clean up and maintenance and repair of rock walls and permanent docks. If you have boats and floating docks to be removed we recommend this be done by October 25th\, as the first couple of days of draw down will be significant. \nPlease plan your activities accordingly.  Thank you.

DESCRIPTION:You are invited to attend the annual Halloween Parade on Saturday\, October 28th\, at 11:00AM (Rain or Shine).  The Parade will start at the corner of Church Street and Main Street.  The Parade will conclude at the Ambulance Squad (Please Note: This is a change from the original destination) where there will be games\, goodie bags and a costume contest.  The costume contest categories are as follows: \n\nNewborn – Age 2\nAge 3 – 4\nAge 5 – 6\nAge 7 – 8\nAge 9 – 10\nPETS (New this year! However\, the pets will not be allowed in the Ambulance Squad building.)\n\nThis event is sponsored by the Stanhope Recreation Commission with\nspecial thanks to the\nStanhope-Netcong American Legion Ambulance Squad\nand the\nStanhope Hose Company No. 1 for their support!
