The next E-Waste Recycling Event is scheduled for Saturday\, May 16th. \n  \nThe SCMUA Solid Waste/Recycling Facility\, 34 South Route 94\, Lafayette is offering Free Electronics Recycling on Saturday from 7am to 2pm.   There is a limit of five (5) units per vehicle. Additional items will incur scale charges for extra quantities.  Examples include: Computers\, Monitors\, Printers\, Cassette/CD/VCR/DVD Players\, Computer and Stereo Speakers\, Stereo Equipment\, Copiers\, Televisions\, Radios\, Cell Phones and Fax Machines (NO appliances).  Residents and businesses are responsible for prior removal of data from hard drives and other storage media. \nClick here for additional SCMUA information:   scmua.org \nReminder: As per State Law\, electronic waste may not be placed in with household trash. Electronics should not be place at the curb as there is no local collection program at this time. Electronics should not be taken to the Stanhope DPW yard.

SUMMARY:Stanhope Senior Citizen Club
DESCRIPTION:Our Seniors meet on the 4th Thursday of every month\, 11am\, at the American Legion Musconetcong Post 278 located at 119 Route 183 in Stanhope. (The club does not meet in December or August.) Arrive at 11am for a social hour. The meeting begins at 12pm. \nDues are $15 per year. Members are 55 years of age or older. A great way to meet new friends in a social setting! Coffee and cake is always served. Many activities are scheduled throughout the year.

DESCRIPTION:Our Seniors meet on the 4th Thursday of every month\, 11am\, at the American Legion Musconetcong Post 278 located at 119 Route 183 in Stanhope. (The club does not meet in December or August.) Arrive at 11am for a social hour. The meeting begins at 12pm. \nDues are $15 per year. Members are 55 years of age or older. A great way to meet new friends in a social setting! Coffee and cake is always served. Many activities are scheduled throughout the year.

DESCRIPTION:The Board of Health\, in conjunction with the Sussex County Health Department\, provides an array of health promotion and disease prevention programs such as cancer screenings\, blood pressure testing\, and flu & pneumonia vaccinations. \nEnvironmental health services include inspection of restaurants and retail food vendors\, inspection of public bathing facilities\, free rabies immunization clinic\, mosquito control and radon kits at a reasonable price. \nAnimal control services are provided for stray dogs and cats\, and other animal related concerns. \nThe Board of Health meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00PM at the Stanhope Municipal Building at 77 Main Street. (Meetings are not scheduled for the months of July and August.)
