DESCRIPTION:Reminder – All cats and dogs (7 months or older) residing in the Borough are required to be licensed. The license application is available by clicking this link PetLicenseAppForm(Dogs and Cats) 2024 or you can pick up the form at the Municipal Building at 77 Main Street\, Stanhope during the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm.  Licenses require Proof of Rabies Vaccination and the vaccine must be effective until the last day of October 2024 or longer.  All pets must be licensed prior to April 30th.  After April 30th there will be a $5.00 per month\, per animal late fee imposed beginning May 1st.  License applications can be mailed in\, dropped in the drop box on the front door of the municipal building or you can come in person. \n(NOTE: The Free Rabies Clinic will be held on Friday\, April 12th\, at the Stanhope Fire Department from 6pm-8pm.)
