Hydrant Flushing Throughout October (11pm – 5am)
The Stanhope Water Department will be performing the fall water system flush throughout the month of October. If you experience cloudy or discolored water as a result of the flushing. Run the water for a few minutes until it clears. The water is safe for all uses.

Every year the Environmental Commission co-sponsors a Community Clean-Up Day together with the NJ Clean Communities Program. Columbus Day – Borough Hall Closed
Borough Hall will be closed on Monday, October 14th, in observance of Columbus Day. The office will reopen on Tuesday at 8:30AM.
SCMUA Free Electronic Recycling Collection
The SCMUA Solid Waste/Recycling Facility, 34 South Route 94, Lafayette is offering Free Electronics Recycling on Saturday from 7am to 2pm. There is a limit of five (5) units per vehicle.
