An event every week that begins at 5:00 am on Wednesday, repeating until December 30, 2026
Recycling is picked up curbside every Wednesday. Please place your recycling in containers with lids at the curb the night before or prior to 5:00AM.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: DO NOT PLACE RECYCLABLES IN PLASTIC BAGS when setting them out for collection. Plastic bags can cause issues at the sorting facility. The bags often jam the equipment, lead to contamination, or result in entire loads being diverted to the landfill instead of being recycled which is a cost to the Borough. PLEASE PLACE CLEAN RECYCLABLES INSIDE A CLOSED RECYCLING CONTAINER! Acceptable Recyclable Items: paper, cardboard, plastic bottles/jugs, glass, tin and aluminum cans. Set the cans at the curb. This simple step helps the facility process materials efficiently and maximizes what actually gets recycled.
Recycling can also be brought to the Recycling Center located at the DPW Yard on Smith Street on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s between the hours of 8:00AM – 4:00PM.
