About the Land Use Board
The Land Use Board ensures that proposed development within our Borough promotes the health, safety, and general welfare of our community as we grow. All proposed development must be presented before the Land Use Board for approval. In addition, the Land Use Board considers the appeals of decisions made by our Zoning Officer, interprets our zoning map, and has the authority to grant zoning variances to applicants from requirements established in our Land Use Development Ordinances.

The Land Use Board of the Borough of Stanhope will meet at 7:00pm at the Stanhope Municipal Building, 77 Main Street, Stanhope on the following dates (second Monday of the month):
