About the Land Use Board
The Land Use Board ensures that proposed development within our Borough promotes the health, safety, and general welfare of our community as we grow. All proposed development must be presented before the Land Use Board for approval. In addition, the Land Use Board considers the appeals of decisions made by our Zoning Officer, interprets our zoning map, and has the authority to grant zoning variances to applicants from requirements established in our Land Use Development Ordinances.
Meeting Dates for the 2021 Calendar Year
BE IT RESOLVED by the Land Use Board of the Borough of Stanhope that the following schedule of dates for Regular Meetings be established for 2021 and that all scheduled meetings shall convene at 7:00p.m. at the Stanhope Borough Hall, 77 Main Street, Stanhope, NJ:
January 11 May 10 September 13
February 8 June 14 October 18
March 8 July 12 November 8
April 12 August 9 December 13
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Annual Reorganization Meeting shall be on January 10, 2022 at 7:00p.m.
