PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The Land Use Board Meeting scheduled for December 12, 2022 has been cancelled due to lack of agenda.
The Land Use Board ensures that proposed development within our Borough promotes the health, safety, and general welfare of our community as we grow. All proposed development must be presented before the Land Use Board for approval. In addition, the Land Use Board considers the appeals of decisions made by our Zoning Officer, interprets our zoning map, and has the authority to grant zoning variances to applicants from requirements established in our Land Use Development Ordinances. Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 7:00PM at Stanhope Borough Hall, 77 Main Street.
