PUBLIC NOTICE: NOTICE OF COMBINED PUBLIC HEARING OF THE BOROUGH OF
STANHOPE GOVERNING BODY AND LAND USE BOARD ON THE
HOUSING PLAN ELEMENT AND FAIR SHARE PLAN
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Borough of Stanhope Governing Body and Land Use Board will hold a public hearing to review and consider the adoption of the Housing Plan Element of the Stanhope Master Plan, in accordance with the requirements of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq.).
The public hearing will be held on June 30, 2025, at 7:00pm, at the Borough of Stanhope Municipal Building located at 77 Main Street, Stanhope, New Jersey 07874, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be reached.
The purpose of the hearing is to present the proposed Housing Plan Element and Fair Share Plan, which addresses the municipality’s affordable housing obligations and strategies for compliance with the Fair Housing Act and applicable court orders. All interested parties are invited to attend and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
A copy of the proposed Housing Plan Element and Fair Share Plan is available for public inspection at the Municipal Clerk’s Office, 77 Main Street, Stanhope, New Jersey 07874, during regular business hours.
Any interested person may appear at the hearing, either in person or by attorney, and present any comments or objections regarding the proposed Housing Plan Element and Fair Share Plan.
