The Stanhope Foundation is proud to announce that we are looking to honor the Veterans of Stanhope Borough through the Hometown Heroes Banner Program. The banners will be 18″x36″ and they will be hung on the decorative street lights along Main Street. If enough banners are purchased, banners will also be displayed on the lamp posts along Sparta Road. Each banner will be custom made for the Veteran being honored and it will include their service photo (which can be edited as needed). The manufacturer states the banners should last three years, however we plan to display the banners seasonally, which will keep them viable for a much longer time period. The cost to sponsor a banner is $100.00 and we are asking that the submission form and photo be dropped off at Borough Hall (77 Main Street, Stanhope) by February 28, 2025 in order to have the banners ready for our Memorial Day Parade. We will continue to accept submissions after the deadline and the new requests for banners will be ordered on a rolling basis.
